Lactic acid presents in the yogurt makes it an effective bleaching agent that helps to lighten the hands and feet. Due to its bleaching properties it helps to remove the dead skin cells from our skin and reveal the new soft and supple skin.
• Directly apply plain yogurt on the area where you have dark skin and massage it for some time.
• Let it stay for 10 – 15 minutes, and then wash your face with plain water.
• Use this method daily for better results.

Lemon:

Lemon is a good source of Vitamin C, it also helps to remove the dead skin cells from our skin and dark spots. Citric acid present in it makes it an effective bleaching agent which also helps to brighten and lighten our skin.
• Cut a lemon into half and sprinkle some sugar on it.
• Now rub this on the darker skin, this will help you to remove the dead skin cells and improves the skin tone.
• Let it stay for 8 – 10 minutes, then wash it off.

• Add few drops of almond oil into 2 tablespoon of freshly squeezed Aloe Vera gel.
• Apply this on area where you have darker skin and massage it for some time.
• Ten wash it off after 12 – 15 minutes with water. Use this method twice a day for better results.

Cucumber:

cucumber contains good amount of water and keep you hydrated. Cucumber is rich in Vitamin A which helps to improve your skin tone. Due to its skin lightening properties it helps to remove the tan from our skin.
• Cut a fresh cucumber into slices and place it on your dark skin area.
• Let it stay for 10 – 15 minutes so that your skin can absorb its juice.

• Make a paste by blending papaya and adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and honey.
• Directly Apply this paste on the dark skin areas to lighten it.
• Let it stay for 25 – 30 minutes, then wash it off, use this method 2 times a week to lighten you uneven skin tone.
